Florencia Jhon Locht is a Montréal-based visual artist whose work explores the emotional and psychological dimensions of domestic life. Through drawing, painting, and mixed media practices, she transforms familiar interiors and everyday objects into surreal visual environments shaped by memory, identity, and subconscious perception.

Her artistic language combines playful symbolism with quiet emotional tension, often using simplified figures, fragmented spaces, and recurring motifs to create narratives that feel both intimate and unsettling. Influenced by contemporary surrealism, her work reflects an interest in the hidden emotional structures that exist beneath ordinary routines and living spaces.

Alongside her background in visual arts and art education, Florencia is currently studying mathematics and computer science at the Université de Montréal. This dual engagement with analytical systems and visual expression informs her conceptual approach, where abstraction, structure, and intuition coexist within the same visual space. Her practice often investigates how complex ideas, emotions, and psychological states can be translated into accessible visual forms.

Through her work, Florencia invites viewers into imagined spaces where the familiar becomes symbolic, fragmented, and emotionally charged — encouraging moments of reflection, curiosity, and subconscious connection.
