Our Story

Bringing imagination home

Espace Collective began quietly, in the space of a working studio.

Surrounded by paintings that carried time, atmosphere, and intention, we often returned to the same thought: these works held a presence far beyond the walls in which they were created.

Yet outside the studio, that presence was rarely encountered.
Espace was created to gently bridge this distance—bringing artworks, and the imagination within them, into the spaces people live every day.

A Curated Passage

The Studio Does Not End at the Door.

An artwork begins in the studio, shaped by time, material, attention, and the artist’s hand.

At Espace Collective, each edition is created as a considered extension of that original presence. Through careful selection and refined production, we seek to preserve the atmosphere, texture, and emotional intention of the work while allowing it to enter the spaces where people live, gather, and reflect.

In this way, the edition becomes more than an image. It becomes a quiet continuation of the studio — a way for artistic vision to move into everyday life without losing its sense of authorship.

Curatorial Perspective

Guided by Artists and Curatorial Voices

Espace Collective has also been shaped by conversations with artists and curatorial voices who value studio practice, authorship, and artistic integrity.

As an invited Featured Artist and Curatorial Advisor, Mary Blatherwick has shared thoughtful insight during the early development of Espace Collective. Her perspective has helped inform our approach to careful presentation, creative integrity, and the meaningful connection between artists’ work and everyday living spaces.
